Under-fire Ronald Koeman insists he won't be frustrated by failing to sign anyone for cash-poor Barcelona in January despite long-held interest in Lyon striker Memphis Depay and Manchester City's Eric Garcia

Under-fire Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has insisted he will be content with his squad if the club are unable to secure any signings in the January transfer window.

Barca are languishing in fifth in the LaLiga standings and have played a game more than leaders Atletico Madrid, who are 10 points ahead of them.

They face Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night and speaking ahead of that game, Koeman was quizzed over the possibility of Barcelona making any signings in the January window.

Barcelona have an interest in Manchester City defender Eric Garcia and Lyon forward Memphis Depay, who Koeman was in charge of during his tenure as Holland manager.
