UEFA awaiting official match reports from Liverpool's Youth League game with Spartak Moscow after complaint over racial abuse of Rhian Brewster

UEFA is awaiting match reports amid an allegation of racist abuse against Liverpool teenager Rhian Brewster.

The Merseyside club reported Spartak Moscow to the governing body after the 17-year-old striker, who had to be restrained by team-mates and coaching staff on the final whistle in their UEFA Youth League game, made a complaint following his side's 2-0 victory.

A UEFA spokesman said: 'UEFA will be waiting to receive the official match reports. We will be able to provide you with official information on this in the next days.'
