An appearance for Liverpool against Aston Villa would be the Champions League-winning defender’s 100th for the first team, having only turned 21 last month.
The century comes little over three years after the Scouser made his senior debut for the club against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
The journey has included two European Cup final appearances, five goals, a Premier League assist record and, last month, a nomination for the Ballon d’Or.
“It’s just a dream, you never think you will play 100 times for Liverpool,” Alexander-Arnold told the Liverpool Echo ahead of the game.
