Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud has revealed why he snubbed interest from the Premier League to join Borussia Dortmund.
The 21-year-old midfielder emerged as one of Jurgen Klopp's top targets earlier this year but Dahoud instead opted to join Dortmund.
The Syria-born star impressed during his 28 Bundesliga outings for Borussia Monchengladbach last term and has revealed that he had many offers from abroad before making his choice.
But he says it was the chance to remain in Germany which was enough for him to choose Dortmund.
When asked if he had offers from outside of Germany, Dahoud told Bild: "Yes, there were several.
