Liverpool's pursuit of highly-rated Italian Domenico Berardi could come under fire from Juventus and Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.
The Reds were thought to be in pole position to sign the winger from Serie A side Sassuolo in the summer, but now Juventus are also said to be interested.
The Italian champions are thought to be putting together a list of promising youngsters which includes the 22-year-old Berardi.
Jurgen Klopp has expressed an interest in signing the winger, who is also attracting the interest of Inter Milan.
Berardi has had an injury-plagued season so far, missing four months with knee ligament damage.
