Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says his team were 'much, much, much better than Liverpool' as he insists both penalties were right to be awarded in draw at Anfield

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino saw nothing contentious in his team's two penalties and believes they were unfortunate not to come away with all three points against Liverpool at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah's double had looked to have sealed the three points for the hosts before Harry Kane equalised with a penalty five minutes into injury time.

It was his second attempt from the spot having seen one saved 10 minutes earlier and Liverpool were less than impressed by the referee's decision to award both.

Kane seemed to be offside for the first when he was brought down by goalkeeper Loris Karius whilst the 'foul' by Virgil van Dijk on Erik Lamela for the second looked soft.
