Former Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana was extremely complimentary of Diogo Jota and his impact since arriving at Anfield after the Portuguese scored for the second game running.
Jota, who netted the winner against Sheffield United on Saturday, opened the scoring in the Champions League against Midtjylland on Tuesday night, with Mohamed Salah sealing the victory late on by winning and scoring a penalty.
And Lallana, who left Liverpool in the summer for Brighton after six years at the club, paid tribute to the transfer committee at the Premier League champions for their shrewd summer business in landing ex-Wolves man Jota.
