When Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park next Saturday, it will be exactly 10 years to the day since they last earned bragging rights over their bitter rivals.
Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta got the goals on October 17, 2010, helping David Moyes' men to a well-earned 2-0 win over a Reds side rooted in the relegation zone.
A decade on, and it seems almost unthinkable that Evertonians would still be waiting for the sweetest taste of victory which only comes after a triumph against their neighbours from across Stanley Park.

There have been plenty of draws between the two sides at Goodison since, but now there is a newfound belief on the blue half of Merseyside that this season could finally see the high-flying Toffees end the hoodoo.
