Stoke 1-2 Liverpool: Super-subs Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino see Jurgen Klopp's men come from behind to keep their top-four hopes alive

Liverpool came from a goal behind against Stoke thanks to super-subs Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho as they kept their top-four ambitions alive at the bet365 Stadium.

Stoke took the lead when Walters was left unmarked to head home past Simon Mignolet - the striker's seventh Premier League goal against Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp had selected Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn in his starting line up but the teenagers failed to make an impression on proceedings and were withdrawn at half time for Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.

And Klopp's substitutions proved decisive as first Coutinho equalised on 70 minutes with a low drive and then Firmino crashed home a stunning half-volley to hand Liverpool the three points.
