The academy coach watched on as Liverpool Under 18s were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham in Kirkby.
The 36-year-old rejoined his old club in February to take up a coaching role and has been a regular fixture in the dugout at the academy ever since.
But he was made to rue a late equaliser as the Hammers prevented the Reds taking all three points in dramatic circumstances.
