As Liverpool were undone by Wolves' supreme counter-attacking skills on the break the impending threat of Chelsea loomed ever larger.
Jurgen Klopp's side may have dominated possession but their fragility on the break left new academy coach and club legend Steven Gerrard concerned about his side's clash with the league leaders.
Andreas Weimann scored what turned out to be the winning Wolves goal with a piece of fast counter-attacking play that had Gerrard fearing for his club’s next challenge.

It took just 11 seconds from a Liverpool attack breaking down to Weimann rounding Loris Karius and side-footing home to put Wolves 2-0 ahead.
