Manchester United and Liverpool fans will be treated to a birds-eye view of Sunday’s match with Spidercam to be introduced for the first time in an English top-flight match.
The technology has already been incorporated in Champions League and the World Cup, plus in a host of other sports including rugby, tennis and cricket.
But Sunday’s match at Old Trafford will be the first time Premier League football fans will have to enjoy a brand new view of the action, according to the Daily Mail.
The camera is suspended from wires attached at points around the ground and can zoom in as close as 10metres to where the action is unfolding.
