The Reds dominated the third fixture of their pre-season schedule but couldn't find a breakthrough against obstinate opposition at Gigg Lane.
However, Solanke, who went as close as anyone in seeing an effort cleared off the line in the second half, insisted the result is a secondary concern at this stage of the season.
"We always know that coming to places like this is going to be difficult for us and I think that showed today," he told Liverpoolfc.com.
"But all the boys got another good run-out and it's important to focus on that as well.
