The winger completed a season-long switch to Ibrox on Tuesday and will spend 2019-20 under the management of the former Liverpool captain.
After turning out for Stade de Reims in Ligue 1 during the last campaign, Ojo leapt at the chance when he became aware of interest from the Scottish giants.
Speaking to RangersTV, the 22-year-old said: "The last sort of 18 months, two years, I've kind of not really had that consistent opportunity of football.
"When I heard Rangers were involved, I spoke to my representation, the gaffer Steven Gerrard and I spoke to Liverpool as well.
