Schalke are ready to replace Liverpool-bound Ozan Kabak with out-of-favour Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi... but only if the German agrees to terminate the rest of his contract with the Gunners

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is in line to replace Ozan Kabak at Schalke.

The Bundesliga side have other options but if Mustafi can agree to cancel his contract before 11pm tonight he would be free to join another club once the window is closed.

Schalke want to give the 28-year-old a contract until the summer.
