Ronnie Moran: Dalglish, Gerrard, Ferguson on Liverpool's 49-year man

Liverpool's long-serving legend Ronnie Moran passed away on Wednesday at the age of 83.

Liverpool-born Moran gave the Merseyside club nearly five decades of service -- first joining as a player at the age of 15 in 1949 then subsequently as physio, coach, assistant manager and caretaker boss before, ultimately, retiring in 1998.

The Reds won 13 league championships, four European Cups, two UEFA Cups, five FA Cups and five League Cups during Moran's 49 years at the club, and his impact at Anfield is immeasurable, judging by comments from his former colleagues and peers made at various points down the years.
