Brazil legend Rivaldo has told Sky Sports that Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho could follow in his footsteps by moving to Barcelona at some point in the future.
Rivaldo, who was crowned Ballon d'Or winner in 1999, played five seasons for the Spanish giants between 1997 and 2002, winning two La Liga titles.
Coutinho, 24, has continued to be linked with a move to Barcelona in recent months, having established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League.
Rivaldo believes a move to Catalonia to play alongside Brazil teammate and good friend Neymar is a natural step in the future for Coutinho.
