Rio Ferdinand has questioned the defensive selections Gareth Southgate has made in the latest England squad.
In the 23-man squad announced earlier this week, Trent Alexander-Arnold was among those to miss out, with Southgate putting it down to the full back's form at Liverpool, while the in-form Everton pairing of Michael Keane and Ben Godfrey were overlooked.
Harry Maguire, John Stones, Conor Coady, Eric Dier and Tyrone Mings are the five Southgate will have to call on in the centre of defence for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against San Marino, Albania, and Poland.
