Rio Ferdinand believes too many of Liverpool's key players are underperforming after the Reds slipped to a humbling 4-1 defeat against Napoli on Wednesday.
Liverpool fell three goals behind in the first half, and then conceded immediately after the break before Luis Diaz scored a consolation goal.
Napoli were good value for their victory, and could have won by a greater margin after hitting the post and having a penalty saved in the first half. When assessing what has gone wrong for Liverpool at the start of the season, Ferdinand highlighted that a number of players have fallen below their usual standards.
