REVEALED: Jordan Henderson 'snapped' at Luis Suarez after he moaned at him over his poor passes in a training ground row that helped set the future captain on his way to becoming a Liverpool legend

Glen Johnson believes Jordan Henderson 'snapping' at Luis Suarez during a training session was the moment that set the midfielder on course for Liverpool immortality.

Henderson, now a highly successful Liverpool captain, was a little overwhelmed at first when he moved to Anfield from Sunderland for £20million back in 2011.

According to Johnson, a Liverpool player at the time, there were a few occasions when Henderson was a little too eager to impress his new team-mates and made mistakes.

But when Uruguayan striker Suarez threw his hands up in frustration at a misplaced Henderson pass during training, the midfielder wasn't afraid to give a bit back.
