Billy Koumetio returned from injury and Paul Glatzel was on the mark as Liverpool U23s beat West Ham United 4-2 in Premier League 2 on Friday afternoon.
It was the 17-year-old’s Premier League 2 debut and he played the full 90 minutes alongside Sepp van den Berg at the heart of the Reds' defence at Rush Green FC.
Also on the mark for the Reds were Luis Longstaff and Liam Millar from the penalty spot.
Barry Lewtas also welcomed back Leighton Clarkson after a three-game suspension and Glatzel got more valuable minutes as he appeared as a 67th-minute substitute.
