Run by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from May 13 to 17 and this year’s theme, #BeBodyKind, is focused on promoting positive body image.
During the campaign, Mental Health Foundation will be publishing new research, campaigning for change and offering practical tools and advice.
LFC Foundation will include positive body image content across all of its programmes throughout the week, with individual messages tailored to suit the specific age group and demographic of the sessions.
Research shows awareness and issues around body image can start at an early age, so LFC Foundation will also be running a primary-school focused ‘Mighty Minds’ day at Anfield alongside club mascot Mighty Red.
