Red Neighbours awarded for community work

The High Sheriff of Merseyside, Mr Stephen Burrows Esq DL, acknowledged Red Neighbours' 'great and valuable services to the community' with a special accolade after the team were nominated by Alsop High School.

Announced during the annual ceremony at Police HQ on Brunswick Dock, the award is given on behalf of the residents of Merseyside to those who have made a significant contribution to the local area.

The team were also named winners at the LFC Annual Recognition Awards - an internal celebration of club staff and their achievements across the previous 12 months.

Selected by the Staff Engagement Group, the Red Neighbours team were chosen not only for the work they do in and around the local Anfield community, but for the way in which they do so.
