Liverpool have benefited more than any other Premier League team from VAR decisions this season, it has been revealed.
The Reds have been given six extra points thanks to interventions in the 2022-23 campaign and would be sitting six points off the bottom three without them.
Jurgen Klopp's men are already struggling as it is this season - languishing in ninth place and ten points off fourth-placed Manchester United, but a table without VAR shows their fortunes would be even worse off had key decisions not gone their way.
The Reds were relieved to see Conor Coady's late strike against them in the Merseyside Derby ruled out by VAR in September, which would have been the winner before the 0-0 draw.
