A second Manchester United fan was arrested for tragedy chanting during the FA Cup clash with Liverpool, while a visiting supporter has been charged after objects were thrown into home sections of Old Trafford.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed eight arrests and one charge relating to Sunday's game, which United won 4-3.
Police said on Sunday that they had held a United fan on suspicion of tragedy chanting and revealed in a statement on Monday that another supporter had been arrested for the same offence. They were aged 21 and 59, GMP added.
