A group of 21 first-team players, plus Daniel Agger, Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard and Steve McManaman, met at the training ground before taking to the skies for the long flight to Australia.
The Reds will face Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, at 11am BST, with tickets for the game available here and the match to be broadcast live on LFCTV and LFCTV GO.
