Pep Guardiola confirms Leroy Sane 'was ready weeks ago' after recovering from cruciate ligament injury as Man City boss decides when German winger should return to action

Sane suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during City's Community Shield victory over Liverpool back in August.

He has not played first team football since but appears to be ready to return to Guardiola's squad for the conclusion of the season.
