Young Reds captain Glatzel took his tally for the season to 20 in all competitions by netting his third treble of the campaign during Monday’s 4-0 win over Accrington Stanley.
The forward, who turns 18 in February, showed off the full range of his goalscoring talents in St Helens with a looping header followed by two nimble finishes both teed up by strike partner Bobby Duncan.
“It’s a great feeling,” Glatzel told Liverpoolfc.com.
“It’s nice to score the goals but it doesn’t really matter who scores them. Me and Bobby work well up top, he set me up twice.
