Patrick Bamford reveals how Fabinho kept shouting at a 'tired' Liverpool defence for being 'too deep' in their 1-1 draw against Leeds at Elland Road

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has revealed why Fabinho was shouting at Liverpool's defence during the two sides' recent meeting at Elland Road.

Diego Llorente rescued a point for Marcelo Bielsa's side three minutes from time, much to the frustration of Liverpool as they dropped what could be two key points in the top four race.

Bamford often found himself up against Liverpool's Brazilian utility player Fabinho and the 27-year-old striker has now detailed just why his opponent was bellowing at his own team-mates.

The Brazilian was concerned that Liverpool's defenders were dropping 'too deep'

'Fabinho was saying to the rest of the back four a lot: "we're too deep, we're too deep, we need to get up, we need to get up",' Bamford told The Official Leeds United podcast.
