Chelsea will be without Nicolas Jackson for tonight's clash with Liverpool after his return to England was delayed.
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino revealed Chelsea were looking into getting striker Jackson back in time following Senegal's AFCON last-16 exit on Monday.
Chelsea were preparing for Jackson to fly to Manchester and then make his way to Liverpool for the 8.15pm kick-off at Anfield.
But Senegal's players were ordered to return to their homeland first before then being released to return to their respective clubs.
They are understood to have been given clearance to make those journeys later today though not in time for Jackson to get back and feature at Liverpool.
