Newcastle are drawing up targets for January when the new owners will need to recruit for their Premier League rescue mission and Wolves skipper Conor Coady is the latest name to join the list.
The defender is said to be a favourite of leading advisor and Amanda Staveley's trusted friend Frank McParland.
McParland is set to take a senior role at the club and worked with Coady at Liverpool as he rose through the ranks.
But it would take a significant sum of around £20million or more to persuade Wolves to let their star defender leave to join their rivals, according to The Sun.
