Newcastle are already in discussions over a move for Barcelona outcast Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
The former Liverpool midfielder is currently on loan at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich but they will not be making the move permanent at the end of the season.
Coutinho is no longer wanted by the Catalan giants after failing to live up to expectation since his big-money move from Anfield in January 2018.
Tottenham have shown an interest in the Brazilian playmaker and even came close to signing him last summer before he eventually ended up at the Alliaz Arena.
