Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes hailed the best day of his life after leading his side to Carabao Cup glory.
Guimaraes played the full 90 minutes - plus 12 nervous minutes of added time - as Newcastle beat Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley on Sunday to end the club's 70-year wait for a major domestic trophy.
Shortly after the final whistle, the Brazilian gave an emotional interview to Sky Sports.
'It's all for these fans,' he said. 'They deserve everything. When I first came here I said I wanted to put my name in history.
