Eddie Howe has provided a key update on Alexander Isak's fitness after the Swedish striker limped out of Newcastle's FA Cup defeat by Brighton last weekend.
The Magpies are due to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley next weekend, and have already been handed a triple blow ahead of that game.
Anthony Gordon is suspended for the showpiece event after being sent off against Brighton, while Lewis Hall and Sven Botman will miss out through injury.
Isak also appeared to emerge as a doubt to play at Wembley after he needed medical treatment and hobbled off in the latter stages of normal time on Sunday.
