Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham: Willock dents Spurs' top-four hopes with late equaliser after Kane double had put visitors ahead... but a draw does little for either side as they battle at separate ends of the Premier League table

A late Joe Willock equaliser saw Newcastle claim a much-deserved point after Harry Kane’s quick fire brace completed a crazy first-half comeback for Tottenham.

Joelinton gave Newcastle a deserved lead midway through the first half to score his first goal since November. Sean Longstaff played an inviting pass to the Brazilian, who cooly slotted the ball past Hugo Lloris.

Newcastle were then left red-faced just 90 seconds later, after a poor clearance from Jamal Lascelles allowed Harry Kane to poke him to equalise.
