Joelinton gave Newcastle a deserved lead midway through the first half to score his first goal since November. Sean Longstaff played an inviting pass to the Brazilian, who cooly slotted the ball past Hugo Lloris.
Newcastle were then left red-faced just 90 seconds later, after a poor clearance from Jamal Lascelles allowed Harry Kane to poke him to equalise.
And a few minutes later, Harry Kane was wheeling around in celebration once more after a sumptuous and vintage strike from the England captain completed the visitors’ comeback in a crazy five-minute period.
