Liverpool are top of the Premier League, at least temporarily, after beating Bournemouth 4-0 at Vitality Stadium on Saturday. Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick and Steve Cook was guilty of an own goal, as the Reds maintained their unbeaten start to the league campaign and leapfrogged Manchester City by a point.
City can reclaim the lead by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge later in the day.
Salah opened the scoring in the first half after reacting quickest to a rebound from a Roberto Firmino shot. However, the Egypt international appeared to be in an offside position.
There was nothing wrong with the two fine solo goals Salah scored in the second half, while Cook was unfortunate to turn an Andy Robertson cross into his own net.
