Liverpool got back to their winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday, beating Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 at the Amex Stadium to move seven points clear at the top of the table.
After an uneventful first period the Reds edged in front five minutes after the restart. Mohamed Salah was dragged down in the penalty after dreadful defending by Pascal Gross and the Egyptian stepped up to convert from the spot.
It was Salah's top-flight goal 14th of the season, putting him level with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot.
