The Egyptian ace was forced off with a suspected groin injury in the second half of their Champions League quarter-final win over Manchester City.
Salah scored the opening goal – his 38th of the season – as the Reds ran rampant at Anfield, but he was replaced by Georginio Wijnaldum in the 52nd minute, holding his groin as he left the field and walked straight back down the tunnel accompanied by a member of the Liverpool medical staff.
He later emerged and watched the final moments of the game from the bench, but the club have been quiet on Salah’s injury ever since.
