Michael Owen has identified who Liverpool should sign as Mo Salah's replacement should the Egypt star leave Anfield this summer.
Salah is in the last six months of his contract and has been free to talk to foreign clubs since the start of this month.
The saga has not impeded the 32-year-old's form as he has registered 21 goals and 17 assists so far this season to fire Liverpool to the top of both the Premier League and Champions League tables.
Should Liverpool allow their all-time Premier League top-scorer to leave in the summer, any replacement would find themselves with huge shoes to fill.
