Micah Richards reveals how a Man City Treble-winner cost him £1MILLION... after former defender missed out on huge bonus when England failed to qualify for Euro 2008 following shock Croatia defeat

Micah Richards lays the blame for missing out on a huge bonus 16 years ago at the feet of a current Manchester City goalkeeper.

The 38-year-old, now playing third fiddle to Ederson behind Stefan Ortega at the Citizens, was part of Pep Guardiola's Treble-winning side of last season, picking up a Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League winners medal.

Prior to his more trophy-laden recent spell at the Etihad, the former Liverpool and Aston Villa stopper had spent time in the England set-up, winning four caps in as many years between 2007 and 2011.
