Liverpool U18s produced a magnificent display to claim a 4-0 victory over Everton in Saturday's mini-derby at the Kirkby Academy.
Goals from James McConnell, Oakley Cannonier, Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic in the U18 Premier League North fixture gave the young Reds the well-deserved three points.
McConnell opened the scoring with a brilliant strike from distance after 21 minutes before Cannonier made it 2-0 early in the second half.
Clark scored in the 65th minute with a close-range finish as Bajcetic then completed a satisfying afternoon's work for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side.
It was no surprise to see the hosts take the lead during a dominant first-half display.
