Mario Balotelli rejected by Serie A outfit Sassuolo as Liverpool outcast struggles to find new side

Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli's struggles to find a new club show no sign of improving after Serie A side Sassuolo turned down the chance to sign him.

The striker is not part of Jurgen Klopp's plans and has been told he can leave the club this summer, but is so far yet to find new employers following a disappointing loan spell with AC Milan last season.

Sassuolo chief executive Giovanni Carnevali revealed that the Italians rejected the opportunity to sign the out-of-favour Liverpool forward.
