Manchester City are up against it to turn around what has been by far their worst week of the season as they host Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
City are already 3-0 down from the first leg following their capitulation at Anfield last Wednesday. They go into the game having failed to clinch the Premier League title on Saturday after throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose against arch rivals Manchester United on home soil.
Meanwhile Liverpool are huge favourites to progress to the semi-final and head to the Etihad Stadium knowing an away goal would require Pep Guardiola's team to score five times to knock them out.
