Manchester United and Liverpool have been given an additional five days to trigger Dani Olmo's release clause, according to a report.

Olmo has been one of the stars of Euros 2024 for Spain, who are favourites to win the tournament when they take on England in the final in Berlin on Sunday evening.

He scored the winning goal against France in the semi-final on Tuesday, and has netted in all three of his side's knockout games in their perfect run to the last two in Germany.

The midfielder's performances for both club and country have sttracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs, with his reported release clause leaving the sides on red alert.
