Female participants from LFC Foundation’s Premier League Kicks Football+ programme attended various activity sessions and educational workshops throughout the school break, which aimed to increase engagement with local young women and develop their skills.
Twelve girls took part in the course, which was themed around road safety and included educational talks from MFRS and Merseyside Police, as well as a visit to the MFRS Marine Rescue Unit.
The week ended on a high with the youngsters visiting The Solar Campus to watch a Liverpool FC Women training session, receive coaching from manager Vicky Jepson, and take part in a meet and greet with the squad.
