Reds legend Sir Kenny Dalglish visited New Park Primary School back in April, alongside Red Neighbours, to officially launch a new children’s book based on his life story.
Signed copies of ‘King Kenny’ were then donated to the school, and pupils decided to distribute them within the local community - taking donations for Larks, a breast cancer support group run by The Marina Dalglish Appeal, in return.
Created by LFC’s main sponsor, Standard Chartered, the book tells the incredible story of one of football’s all-time greats, capturing valuable lessons from his inspiring journey both on and off the pitch.
