They will face one of 10 teams who finished second or third in their domestic competition, in what UEFA call the 'league route' of qualification - as Liverpool are seeded thanks to their co-efficient ranking, either one of the eight unseeded sides who enter the third qualifying round, or one of the two already in the play-off.
