Liverpool moved three points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City with a hard-fought 1-0 win against West Ham at Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds were dominant throughout and almost had the lead a minute or two in when forward Mohamed Salah was denied by Lukasz Fabianski after Trent Alexander-Arnold's quickly taken free-kick.
But they scored the opener just before the half-hour, Sadio Mane turning home from Alexander-Arnold's driven cross after a VAR check showed he was marginally onside.
West Ham had chances - Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio particularly wasteful from promising positions - but Jurgen Klopp's men held on to send the home crowd home happy.
