Jürgen Klopp expects Liverpool to be without Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Joel Matip for Tuesday night's Champions League fixture with FC Midtjylland.
Though the trio are edging closer to a return, the Reds boss indicated the Anfield clash with the Danish champions is likely to arrive too soon.
He told his pre-match press conference: "It’s still what I said last week, we look day by day.
“It looks like we will need a few more days. For tomorrow night, they probably will not be ready.”
Klopp did, however, report he has no fresh injury concerns to contend with on the back of Saturday's 2-1 victory over Sheffield United in the Premier League.
