Liverpool have been told to forget about signing Juventus prospect Francesco Cassata.
The 19-year-old is held in high regard by the Italian champions and he is currently gaining first-team experience on loan at Ascoli.
The midfielder has been catching the eye this season with his displays for the Serie B side and Liverpool have taken note.
Indeed, the Reds were linked with a £8.5m bid for Cassata during the January transfer window before talks eventually broke down.
And now, according to TMW, Liverpool have been told to bin any plans about signing the Italian this summer.
